Dr. Locascio has held previous research positions at Adobe, Cisco and Ooyala. She obtained a Ph.D. in clinical neuropsychology from Brigham Young University and a Masters in Human Factors from San Jose State University.
Dr. Marquez’s expertise is in space human factors and HCI. Her projects have focused on developing software tools for International Space Station flight controllers and training simulators, developing a path planning aid for astronauts conducting extra-vehicular activities, and design and assessment displays for unmanned air vehicle operations and lunar lander cockpit. Originally from Lima, Peru, she moved to the U.S. to complete her undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering at Princeton University. She has a Masters and Ph.D. from MIT in the Dept. of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Staff User Experience Researcher, Google
Dr. Patel-Smith is a Staff UX Researcher at Google [x], where she is currently working Project Glass. In the past, Dhvani worked as a User Experience Researcher at Microsoft, and she received her M.A. and PhD in Applied Developmental Psychology from George Mason University.
